The modular picture is a picture consisting of several modules (parts). The picture can consist of two, three, four or more parts which are united by a common theme. The number of segments depends on a customer's request. All the elements of the modular picture are fixed to the wall at a certain distance from each other and are not framed, the plot of the picture continues at its ends. This is how the effect of greater spatiality and dimensionality of the image is created. The picture looks different at different angles and from different viewpoints.

Depending on the Number of Elements, There Are Four Types of Modular Paintings:

- Diptych - a picture consisting of two parts;
- Triptych - a picture consisting of three parts;
- Penaptych - a picture consisting of four parts;
- Polinaptich - a picture consisting of five or more parts.

The segmentation allows you to easier perceive the image and at the same time, it adds dynamics to the picture. It draws your attention because you feel like examining the details hidden behind the corners; you want to see everything and solve the riddle of the author.

Correcting Interior Space with Modular Pictures

- Squares of 6 or 9 pieces will allow you to make high ceilings "lower" and the room will be more comfortable;
- Vertical rectangles can visually lift ceilings;
- Horizontal fragments on the wall will help lengthen a narrow room;
- You need to correlate the caliber of the picture with the size of the room, since a large picture can make a small room uncomfortable.
